Organizing Director

360 Campaign Consulting is seeking an Organizing Director to work with one of our most valuable clients. Based out of New York City, New Haven or Boston, your primary responsibility will be to assist a prominent non-profit advocacy organization run their campaigns. You will manage a team of staff with whom you will work to recruit, train and develop a large volunteer base in the Hispanic community. You will work on site in the main office and travel in the greater metropolitan area one-to-two days a week.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Staff Management & Training

• Manage a team of 3-5 staff
• Conduct weekly individual meetings with staff and create staff development trajectory plans
• Run regular trainings for staff to improve their skills

Strategic Planning

• Develop long-term and short-term strategic campaign plans
• Lead and support campaign planning sessions with staff, volunteers, and other stake-holders

Staff Recruitment

• Coordinate and participate in staff hiring, including interviews and job offers
• Serve as the main contact for all applicants throughout the application process
• Facilitate recruiting to grow the client's team

Other Projects

• Liaise with organizations and other members of the political community, as appropriate
• Assist on special projects as needed
• Travel one to two days a week

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3-5 years of project management experience, especially in issue-based or electoral campaigns
• Spanish speaking is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communications skills; excellent time management skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; SalesForce knowledge is a plus
