Congressional Campaign Manager (Southwest Michigan)

 

Campaign Manger position for a Red to Blue Congressional race in November 2018. Start date: July 1, 2017 or as soon as practical.

 

Campaign Manager responsibilities include:

• ·       Participate in finalizing the campaign strategic plan and budget
  
• ·       Execution of the campaign plan
  
• ·       Scheduling candidate’s time
  
• ·       Draft communication, endorsement, and outreach materials
  
• ·       Ensuring campaign stays on budget
  
• ·       Managing campaign staff, interns, and volunteers
  
• ·       Regular formal and informal reports
  
• ·       Travel with candidate to events as needed
  

 

Campaign Manager Qualifications:

• ·       Previous campaign experience
  
• ·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  
• ·       Demonstrated leadership ability
  
• ·       Demonstrated independent problem-solving skills
  
• ·       Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication
  
• ·       Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  
• ·       Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  
• ·       Ability to work long and weekend hours
  
• ·       Ability to relocate to Southwest Michigan for the remainder of the campaign
  

 

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
