SC Strategies is seeking a campaign fellow for a 4-month paid fellowship. We are a fast-paced Democratic fundraising and consulting firm that handles a variety of clients including candidates for office, non-profit organizations, advocacy groups, PAC's and elected officials. This internship provides a hands-on experience in the field of fundraising and campaign consulting and is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door in any part of the political world. The fellowship will take place May-August, or for whatever 4-month period that would work for the right candidate. The position would be based in our office in Anaheim.

This is a part-time paid fellowship, starting at 10 hours/week and $15/hour.

Duties include:

-Having your hand in all aspects of political campaigns and fundraising,

-Researching and arranging meetings with donors and clients.

-Database management in NGP VAN, Excel, and Google docs.

-Event coordination: calling venues, writing and distributing invitations, and preparing briefings for clients.

-Assistance with administrative tasks: filing documents, answering the phone, event prep, and keeping the office running smoothly.

Who we are looking for:

-Candidates should be hard working, organized, able to multitask, work independently, communicate effectively and have a sense of humor.

-Proficiency in Word, Excel and databases are a plus.

-Students, recent grads  or young professionals who are interested in pursuing a career in politics or fundraising. You’ll have the ability to network with political figures around the country, so this is a great way to get your foot in the door!
