Position:

Field Organizer

Overall Description:

A competitive suburban Detroit Congressional Campaign is now accepting applications for Field Organizers. Field Organizers (FOs) are the face of the campaign for volunteers and voters.  Therefore, we are looking for bright, motivated, and organized activists ready to fight for Medicare for All, raising the minimum wage, and sending a fighter to Washington to take on the Trump administration. 

Responsibilities:

•             Recruit, manage, and train volunteers  

•             Persuade and motivate voters

•             Preparing and managing phonebanks and canvassing

•             Identify and train super volunteers

•             Build relationships with community leaders

•             Ensure data integrity

•             FOs will work with the Campaign Manager and Field Director the implement the Field Plan

Requirements:

•             Well organized

•             Self-starter

•             Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and creatively problem-solve

•             Strong interpersonal skills and team player

•             Attention to detail

Salary:

Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include fully paid health insurance.
