Job Description
Operating in one of the
most politically exciting swing districts in the country, the Bucks County
Democratic Committee (BCDC) is a growing organization comprising over 300 members
throughout 54 municipalities. In the past four years, the BCDC has built
tremendous momentum, taking majority control of the county commissioners for
the first time in over thirty years, flipping eight of nine county row offices
and helping a historic number of Democrats get elected at the municipal level.
In 2021 and beyond, our goal is to continue to build an organization that can
hold on to those electoral gains, help elect even more Democrats, and support
long-lasting, Democratic leadership in the county.
We are looking for an
energetic, organized, and collaborative leader who will help guide the BCDC as
we expand. Reporting to the BCDC Chair, and coordinating with members of the
leadership and strategic teams, the executive director will articulate a clear
vision for the future of the organization, and is responsible for implementing
strategies for growth, overseeing operational efficiency, and managing
day-to-day business.

Votebuilder to county committee members and local campaigns.

business and political operations.

identifying, cultivating and soliciting institutional and major gift
donors. Maintain BCDC’s NGP database, ensuring all donor records are
up-to-date and all expenses and revenues are entered regularly for the
purposes of campaign finance reporting as required by the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania and County of Bucks.
- Develop and execute an annual
budget and finance plan with multiple revenue streams to meet budget
requirements, including the management of call time for party officers,
elected officials, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with local, county,
state, and federal Democratic political campaigns in Bucks County.
