JOB: Southwest Statewide Campaign seeks research associate

This job is full-time located in HQ and would require immediate relocation to the area if you currently live elsewhere. Specific title, responsibilities, and salary based on experience.

Responsibilities

 

·         Contribute to research on candidates and materials used for communications;

·         Track FEC filings, legislative calendars, and campaign events;

·         Record and archive opponents’ activities and statements across media platforms with an eye to defining their record;

·         Fact checking and copy-editing campaign materials; and

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

 

·         Excellent research and writing skills;

·         Strong attention to detail;

·         Ability to write, edit and fact-check with precision during fast-paced periods;

·         Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively; and

·         Previous campaign or policy experience a definite plus but not required.
