Job Title: Regional Engagement Director

Job Description:

 

The Regional Engagement Director will supervise the constituent contact program in their assigned region(s). In consultation with the senior staff, they will have authority over targeting and staffing decisions related to the constituent contact program in their assigned region(s). They will train staff and volunteers. They will analyze data collected through constituency contact program in their assigned regions and will have the authority to reallocate resources as needed to reach monthly, weekly and daily goals.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

·       Identifying, recruiting, training, and supervising volunteer teams

·       Coordinating and participating in direct voter contact programs to motivate and mobilize voters in key regions

·       Detailed regular reporting of regional activities and program results

·       Representing the campaign at community events and meetings

 

Requirements:

 

·       One campaign cycle preferred but not necessary

·       Proven leadership abilities

·       Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

·       Understanding of Maryland politics

·       Demonstrated commitment to the Democratic Party and its values

·       Availability to work evenings and weekends, and to conduct in-state travel

·       B.A./B.S. required

·       An excellent sense of humor
