The Pennsylvania House Democratic Campaign Committee is seeking qualified candidates to serve as field organizers on competitive races across the state. The PAHDCC is the campaign arm of the Pennsylvania State House Democrats.
Duties include but not are limited to:
- Work with the Regional Field Director to design and implement a field plan, hitting goals including:
o Door knocks;
o Phone calls;
o Volunteer recruitment and team building;
o Commit to vote card collection;
o Vote by mail/Permanent Early Voter List recruitment and follow-up;
- Recruit, train, and motivate volunteers and interns to achieve your goals;
- Build a long lasting volunteer infrastructure in your region by collaborating with volunteer leadership to plan campaign events;
- Meet daily reporting and data entry deadlines; - Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- General understanding of political campaigns and desire to learn more;
- Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple ongoing projects;
- Comfortable with computer technology, experience using VoteBuilder a plus;
- Dedication to empowering volunteers to effect change in their community;
- Ability to work long hours including nights and weekends on a regular basis;
- A true self-starter who is a detail-oriented team player;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong dedication to the values of the Democratic Party;
- Access to reliable transportation required.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
