About:
Fuse is Washington State’s largest progressive organizations, running campaigns online, on the ground and on issues that matter. This year we are committed to electing strong progressive leaders to represent us in the legislature and in congress.
As a fellow, you will:
Learn a robust Civic Engagement and Advocacy Curriculum in partnership with leading progressive organizations across the state
Work to support the most progressive elected officials running for office in 2020
Work to activate your own network of friends and community members to turn out to vote
The Civic Voices Fellowship works to mobilize individuals throughout the Puget Sound and Southwest WA region who are looking to build power in their communities by building an engaged electorate through a program uniquely tailored to registering and mobilizing voters through traditional campaign outreach, community-based, and relational organizing tactics. This fellowship is a four-month program and will be the primary vehicle for carrying out important parts of a community and voter engagement outreach strategy in Pierce, Clark, and South King County through Civic Education and Advocacy, support for candidates that share progressive values, and through a robust relational organizing effort.
Time Frame:
The fellowship will run from July 20th, 2020 - November 6th, 2020. Applicants can expect to work between 10-15 hours per week on average and fellows will receive a stipend of $2,500 for their work.
