Finance Assistants

Wisconsin Democratic candidate for governor seeks Finance Assistants for general election. As key members of the Finance Team, the Finance Assistants will be responsible for assisting the Finance Team achieve fundraising goals, with assistants needed to support the campaign’s events, research and call time programs.

 

Responsibilities Include:

 

 

·       Working with finance team on upkeep and maintenance of campaign databases, including donor information and prospective donor research

 

·       Processing daily contributions and ensure thank you notes are mailed on weekly basis

·       Performing donor research, donor solicitation, and donor follow up 

 

·       Assisting with recruiting and directing volunteers and interns

·       Coordinating with other staff to ensure successful fundraising events

·       Performing event calls and working with volunteers and interns on event follow up calls

 

·       Research and assisting Call Time Manager prep for candidate call time

 

 

 

 

 

·       Traveling across the state to staff and assist with events

·       Recruiting and manage volunteers to help with large scale mailings and database projects

·       Other duties as required

·       Enthusiasm for Democratic politics and defeating Scott Walker.

 

 

Qualifications and Skills:

 

 

·       Previous fundraising experience ideal

 

·  Applicants must be highly organized 

·       Strong written, communication, research, & interpersonal skills

·       Knowledge of NGP Software preferred

·       Ability to work independently, and manage multiple tasks

·       Experience organizing and assisting events

·       Deadline and results-driven with ability to multitask in a fast-paced campaign environment

·       Must be willing to work irregular campaign hours with weekends and evenings

·       Working knowledge of and experience with Google docs & Microsoft Excel

·       Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

 

Ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to working for Democrats, excellent communication and organization skills, knowledge of NGP, and a passion and commitment to defeating Scott Walker. The Finance Assistants will be based in Madison, and have a start date of August 15th. Salary will be based on experience.
