Targeted State Senate Race in Denver Area Seeks Field Organizers

A targeted State Senate campaign is seeking full-time organizers!

The primary role of organizers is developing relationships with members of the community and bringing more folks into the political process. This is a very exciting opportunity for anybody interested in pursuing a career in politics or making a difference in their community.

Responsibilities:

● Developing a plan to organize their turf based on its unique characteristics.

● Identifying and cultivating volunteer team leaders.

● Personally engaging in direct voter contact, both door-to-door and by phone.

● Planning and executing events and trainings.

● Building relationships with community leaders.

● Writing Letters to the Editor and postcards.

● Ensuring the data integrity of the campaign.

Qualifications:

● Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

● Strong interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.

● Ability to work independently and in team settings.

● Ability to work long and irregular hours.

● Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.

● Working laptop and phone.

● Ability to meet strict deadlines.
