As Systems Administrator, you will implement and manage hosted infrastructure for high visibility applications and websites. We need a jill/jack-of-all-trades who can effectively multitask with a high attention to detail that keeps systems running efficiently and securely.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor & configuring LAMP stack
- Monitor & configuring web servers using Virtual AutoScaling & Load Balancing infrastructure
- Monitor & updating SSL / security certificates
- Troubleshoot day-to-day technology issues with Virtual Linux Servers and/or websites
- Configure and troubleshoot Bulk Message Delivery, including DKIM, DMARC, and SPF configuration.
- Support uptime monitoring infrastructure
- Infrastructure-wide Security Monitoring
- Develop and maintain backup disaster plans
- Field IT questions with employee hardware
- Asset Tracking
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ Years Systems Admin / Systems Engineer experience
- 2+ years experience with cloud-based hosting environment
- Strong understanding of auto-scaling structures
- Familiarity with git
- Experience with LAMP stack
- Strong working knowledge of Linux shell
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to learn new technologies quickly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Amazon Web Services system administration experience
- Programming: Node.js, JavaScript, bash, HTML, CSS.
- Working knowledge of nginx
- Experience with Strongloop / Loopback
- Experience with Nagios
- Relevant certifications (AWS Systems Admin / DevOps especially) a big plus
