Putnam Partners, a top Democratic political media consulting firm based in the Washington, DC area, is looking for an intern/staff assistant that can begin work immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate looking for an entry-level administrative job with growth opportunities on the operations side of an advertising agency or video production company.


The principals at Putnam Partners have produced national television advertising for three American presidential campaigns, two overseas parliamentary campaigns and have been lead consultants and strategists for campaigns in 47 states. We’ve helped President Obama as one of his lead media firms, as well as helped elect nine U.S. Governors, nine U.S. Senators and forty-three members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Candidates for these positions should possess strong oral and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and, ideally, an interest in progressive politics.  He or she must also have the ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and balance multiple projects at once. All candidates should be familiar with Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Quick Books is a plus.
