Democratic campaign to re-elect New York City Comptroller Scott M. Stringer is looking for a reliable, efficient and self-motivated individual with strong organizational, interpersonal communication and writing skills, as well as exceptional attention to detail to serve as Campaign Finance Director. Prior political campaign fundraising and organizing experience in New York City strongly preferred, but not required.
Skill Requirements:
Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university;
Familiarity with NGP Software and Microsoft Excel (familiarity with C-SMART is a bonus);
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Strong ability to prioritize and complete tasks in an organized and efficient manner;
Extremely detail oriented and organized with proven ability to meet deadlines efficiently;
Experience that would be suitable for event planning, organizing and fundraising.
Job Responsibilities:
Create, manage and execute campaign fundraising plan, including call-time, fundraising events, and meetings;
Plan and execute fundraising events;
Write campaign solicitations and manage donor correspondence;
Manage and maintain NGP VAN database;
Coordinate campaign’s compliance with campaign finance regulations; assist with financial filings and audit reviews;
Ensure that all fundraising activities are in full compliance with New York City campaign finance laws; and
Staff candidate at finance meetings and events
Pay: Compensation is commensurate with experience.
