Position
As a Solar Ambassador Team Lead, you are the face of our company, both to our customers and to our field staff. Along with your team of 3-5 Solar Ambassadors, you will go door-to-door in neighborhoods in and around your local area. You and your team will educate homeowners about the benefits of transitioning to solar energy, explain how Level Solar’s programs work, and help homeowners take action to save money and the environment by setting them up with a meeting with one of our expert Solar Consultants.
In addition to leading by example through consistently excellent performance in the field, Solar Ambassador Team leads play a critical management role in our operations. You will serve as a mentor, coach, trainer and manager for 3-5 staff on your team, helping them learn about our products, master the skills of solar outreach, and attain our goals for solar panels installed in our communities. Team leads must be able to use performance data as well as face time in the office and in the field to develop and execute plans to improve the skills and performance of every member of their team. Solar Ambassador Team Leads are a key part of our leadership team, and often take on additional responsibilities to make sure our team succeeds.

About you:

In addition to demonstrating strong performance in the field yourself, we’re looking for Team Leads who embody other qualities necessary for leadership: Punctuality, professionalism, inspiration and a willingness to go the extra mile to help our team succeed.

Requirements :
•Outstanding communication skills, including fluent English. Knowledge of languages other than English is a real plus, but not required
•Successful track record running political campaigns, grassroots organizing, and/or home selling/lead generation. Management and/or team building •experience in these settings is a big plus
•Relentless optimism, infectious energy and positive attitude
•Demonstrated track record of excellent performance in the field, both quality and quantity
•Ability to follow a proven system while helping make it better
•Strong desire to succeed and help others do the same, must be teachable
•Interest/passion for clean energy and the environment preferred. You must be inspired to inspire others!
•College degree preferred - Students pursuing a degree are also welcomed
•Reliable transportation to and from work-MUST have a car--office is based in Framingham, MA
•Professionally respond to common inquiries or complaints from staff and customers
•Organized problem solver with excellent communication skills
•Pass background check and drug test
