Northern Virginia House of Delegates campaign seeks Deputy Field Organizers

An open seat, top-tier House of Delegates campaign in Northern Virginia is hiring full-time Deputy Field Organizers to implement aggressive field plan. Supporter housing is available if needed, and DFOs will report directly to Field Director.

Responsibilities Include:

- Lead direct voter contact efforts through canvassing and phone banking 

- Identify and turnout supporters from target universes

- Work closely with Democratic Coordinated Campaign to surpass goals and increase turnout for all Democratic candidates

- Assist with political outreach to targeted constituencies within the district

- Meet daily and weekly goals and complete daily reporting and data entry requirements

- Manage interns 

- Other tasks and responsibilities as necessary

Qualifications Include:

-One campaign cycle completed (preferred but not necessary)

-Familiarity with VAN/VoteBuilder (preferred but not necessary)

-Access to reliable transportation, valid driver's license, laptop and cell phone

-Willing to work long hours and weekends

-Experience in recruiting and training volunteers a plus
