Hiring Paid Canvassers to elect Democrats in Georgia

compensation: $15-$18hr

employment type: part-time

Applicants local to Georgia are preferred. We do not offer relocation/housing assistance.  

Crossroads Campaigns Solutions (CCS), a DC-based consulting firm is looking for Paid Canvassers to work in Gwinnett, Hall, Cherokee, Forsyth Counties. Georgia has critical runoff elections on January 5th. It is critical that everyone returns to the polls. CCS is launching a statewide canvass operation to educate, empower, and get our folks to the polls.

Canvass experience is a strong resume-builder and will help build the skills necessary for future political, community, or fundraising work. 

Canvassers must be able to articulate issues/messaging and be able to successfully engage in dialogue with community members. Shifts are available seven days a week. 

Responsibilities

Effectively communicate issues and campaign messaging one-on-one to voters

Understand and articulate the broader concepts related to the campaign 

Completely and accurately record data

 Follow COVID Social distancing guidelines-safety protocols 

Qualities and Abilities Required

 Canvassers must have excellent communication skills

 Canvassers must be skilled at engaging community members in conversation

 Canvassers must work well in a team and be flexible and adaptive to changing conditions

 Canvassers must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time

 Canvassers must be organized and clearly record canvass results
