Field and Communications Fall Internship

When you stop to think about it everything from the food we buy to the air we breathe is influenced by our campaign finance system and the billions in campaign contributions flowing to candidates for state-level office, the U.S. Congress, and the Presidency. Every Voice is the leading national group working to counter the influence of all this private money on our public policy by pushing for small donor public financing. We’ve been successful in winning these systems in several states and we’re focusing our efforts on winning more state systems, and building support for federal legislation.

Come join Every Voice and get hands on experience working in support of small donor public financing at the state level, and in Washington D.C. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside people who’ve been fighting for full public financing of elections for a decade or more, learn practical organizing skills, and assist in our efforts to raise the profile of the role that private money plays in policy-making. If you’re looking towards a career in political justice and advocacy and want to learn a bit more about how things get done in Washington, here’s your chance.
