Top tier progressive Democratic candidate for Montgomery County Council At-Large is seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to oversee the campaign strategy, manage day-to-day operations and field director.

Responsibilities:

 Manage relationship with outside vendors (direct mail / online media)

 Manage field director and volunteer program 

 Identify opportunities for candidate to speak and attend events

 Manage candidate calendar

 Manage all campaign and fundraising event logistics

 Staff candidate as necessary

Qualifications and desired skills:

 Candidates must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and have a strong commitment to

accountability

 Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced

environment

 Ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects to meet deadlines under pressure

 Strong communication and organizational skills

 Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership ability

 Successful at motivating volunteers to meet voter contact goals

 Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities

 Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle is necessary
