Absentee Voter Outreach Fellow
Rashid for VA is seeking 3-5 fellows to execute outreach to likely absentee voters throughout the month of October to maximize voter turnout. The fellows will be responsible for personally contacting every constituent identified as a likely absentee voter and managing follow-up with absentee voters through a ladder of engagement. This includes consulting with voters on legal causes to request an absentee ballot and assisting voters in applying for an absentee ballot, when required.
Candidates will need to be very self-motivated and outcome-driven. Experience with community organizing or political campaigns is preferred, including canvassing/phone banking and using NGP VAN for voter outreach. Ability to manage data and technology competence is necessary.
Ideally the fellow would be able to work full-time through October. This position requires reliable transportation and weekend availability. The pay is $15/hour.
