Mid-Atlantic
Congressional campaign for progressive, motivated, hard-working candidate
seeks an energetic and experienced finance professional to serve as Finance
Director. Previous experience in finance on a federal race is highly
preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Work with candidate and consultants to develop the
finance plan
- Establish and manage the campaign’s call time program
- Plan and draft an online fundraising program
- Work with donors to successfully execute fundraising
events
- Be current with relevant technology
- Provide regular reports to campaign leadership on
goals and fundraising projections
- Support and manage the candidate in the initial phase
of the campaign
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 cycles experience in federal campaign
finance or relevant fundraising experience
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute a finance
plan
- Thrives under tight deadlines and long hours
- Great attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills
- Experience in assisting campaign management with
cash-flow projections
- Go-getter and self-starter with a positive attitude
- Ideal candidates will have direct
major donor solicitation experience, including prospecting and upgrading
- Should be innovative self-starter
and able to work independently
- Use
a variety of solicitation tools, including events, meetings, calls, and
online communication;
