Hi all,


We're looking for a graphic designer (1-3 years experience) to join Governor Cuomo's growing digital team in either NYC or Albany. Please let me know if either you or someone you know might be interested!


Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:
• Create and design visually appealing modern digital assets in accordance with New York State branding and style guidelines. This may include website mockups, infographics, logos, gifs, charts, PowerPoints, social media and email graphics, and resizing or cropping images.
• Ensure design work is precise, accurate, and adheres to all New York State branding guidelines.
• Follow creative design technologies and trends, in accordance with statewide guidelines.
• Provide creative support for other projects and assignments on an ad-hoc basis.


Preferred Qualifications: 

• Three or more years of experience with graphic design, digital experience preferred; or an associate’s degree or higher in interactive media, design, or visual arts 
• Experience developing graphic content for social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Medium
• Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat
• Detail oriented and organized, with the ability to complete assignments quickly and accurately
• Understanding of digital technologies and trends
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Professional manner with co-workers and clients
• General knowledge of content management systems, HTML, and other web technologies
• Mobile and responsive design experience a plus
