The Immigration and Citizenship Director works with the Working America DC Program Directors and National Field Staff team to expand Working America's ability to reach, mobilize and organize immigrant workers to build power on the job and in the community.
Reports to: Executive Director
Duties:
Create a community of interest within Working America for immigrant workers that encourages them to join Working America;
With the Program Director and Regional Directors, implement immigration and citizenship program to engage immigrant and Latino communities at the national and state level;
Advise the National Field Director on expanding Working America's door-to-door canvass into immigrant and Latino communities;
Work to develop organizational attachment with existing communities of interest within Working America;
With assistance from the Communications staff, develop online messaging for immigrant workers, and other communities of interest within Working America;
