VA Coordinated Campaign Regional Operations Staff

The Virginia Victory 2020 Campaign is hiring Voter Activation Regional Operations Staff to work within the Virginia Democratic Coordinated Campaign.
Voter Activation Regionals (VARs) are responsible for the day-to-day management of Regional Supply Distribution Centers throughout the commonwealth, and will work closely with the Organizing Team responsible for that area. In particular, the VAR should work directly with the applicable DFD and RFD in their region. VARs will serve as an essential part of the state operations team, working closely with the Operations Director and Deputy Operations Director to manage Supply Distribution Centers and safe physical organizing work.
VARs are required to work in-state out of a local supply distribution center and may also be required to drive mobile supply distribution centers (vans or trucks).
Core Responsibilities
Materials distributions (PPE, lit, chum)
Supply audits (PPE, lit, chum, office supplies)
Operations support to GOTV Efforts to include packet compilation and distribution
Supply Distribution Center manager for their site, communicator with landlords
First point of contact to resolve local issues as they arise for the Ops and GOTV teams
Health Safety Captain, and chief enforcement officer of all COVID-19 related health guidelines
Train and oversee at least 1 Deputy Health Safety Captain per Supply Center
In-kind collection and questions
Conflict resolution first point of contact
On-the-ground point of contact for any local problems during or immediately after a critical event
Required Skills
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work within a small focused team
Comfort with logistics and operations management
Experience in 1 - 2 campaign cycles preferred
Drivers license required
Position Information
Competitive compensation and benefits through Nov 15th
Positions will be based in the following areas: Alexandria, Fairfax, Loudon, Richmond, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Roanoke, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach
Compensation: Fixed rate between $4,000 and $5,000 per month
