Position Title: Paid Canvassers

Organization: Healthcare union independent expenditure campaign

Pay: $18/hr 

Position time: Part/full time up to 40 hrs/week 

Duration: September 21st - Nov. 3rd

Location: Providence, RI

Progressive canvassing through the November 3rd election. Mix of issue-based and electoral canvassing for a large healthcare union in Rhode Island. Applicants should have access to a car and a smartphone, ability to work long days going door-to-door by foot, dedication to progressive causes and belief that all workers deserve to make a living wage. No experience needed, just an ability to follow directions. All canvassing conducted while adhering to social distancing guidelines. We drop lit, knock, and step back at least 6 feet. Team meetings conducted outdoors wearing masks.
