Paid /Volunteer Canvasser Positions out of the East Bay, CA

Hello people,

I mentioned before a project I staff on non-partisan voter engagement and the Census on behalf of the CA Healthy Nail Salon Collaborative (www.cahealthynailsalons.org)

We are organizing a pledge drive for both the March 3rd Primary Election and the U.S. Census.

Every little bit helps and we're underway with trying to identify 5,000 unique pledges by March 3rd.

We don't share out personal responsibilities but for grant purposes we need to verify folks are registered voters, and it helps in aggregate to be able to show that we have support on different issues.

And as mentioned during our MAAP Convenings, if anyone was interested to I'm recruiting volunteer and paid canvassers to help us get the word out which mainly happens out of my office in Oakland Chinatown. No previous experience needed. We'll be paying $18 per hour for various shifts in the next few weeks. It's not a huge amount of hours but could be a good learning experience for folks who have not done it before. Email coll...@gmail.com with a resume if you're interested.
