The Virginia House Democratic Caucus is seeking a communications director for the 2016 session.
Applicants should have at least one cycle of previous communications experience, be prepared to work long hours, be in Richmond for the months of January-March, have excellent writing skills, experience in video editing and graphics, and experience working with press.
Job involves running a team of interns to track committee meetings, writing press releases, overseeing social media, and assisting with message development including floor speeches.
Pay is commensurate with experience. Health insurance provided. Housing not provided, but assistance with locating supporter housing is available.
