DUTIES:
Strategic
- Responsible for overall planning, organizing, and execution of all Information System functions. This includes meeting organizational requirements, support of existing applications, as well as creating new and innovative solutions;
- Evaluate and monitor the flow of information throughout Working America, engage with all levels of the organization to improve and re-tool existing systems or develop new data pipelines to meet programmatic needs, and troubleshoot any system-wide difficulties or problems with information systems;
- Develop policies to ensure security, performance, consistency and maintainability, monitoring of all information systems;
Operational
- Lead the Information Systems team and effectively recommend hiring, promoting, demoting, disciplining and termination of the team's staff;
-Develop and maintain reporting systems for Working America (including Field, Program, Organizing, Mobilization and Communications) to provide insight, and ensure accountability and data accuracy. Produce daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc member reports or data assessments as needed;
-Work with field staff to develop and improve reporting and recruitment systems for canvass operations, including ensuring that field staff receive the proper training and support;
