Civix Strategy Group is looking to grow its team and hire a Digital Assistant. This is a great position for someone with a bit of organizing experience and looking to learn the ropes of campaigns!
The Digital Assistant will report to the Digital Director and be responsible for helping to service clients on their email, social and advertising programs. Ideal candidates will have experience – internships, volunteer roles and/or paid positions – with social media and email marketing. The position also offers a great opportunity to enter an emerging field and learn from seasoned campaigners.
You should be ready to help:
- Craft an online program that raises money, turns heads and expands the reach of an organization or campaign. This includes creating and executing engaging, stand-out online actions that convert supporters into volunteer and donor prospects, engage new audiences and use the media cycle to push the campaign’s message and reach.
- Think creatively about the news cycle and the media climate to find ways to help clients stay timely as well as break through the noise on their issues.
- Work with our field team to use online tools to help the field team recruit volunteers, manage volunteers, and facilitate field events, canvasses, phone banks, etc.
- Develop a content calendar to match campaign messaging and keeping social media sites like Facebook and Twitter up to date and engaging with its connections.
- Manage day-to-day content creation and deployment. This includes social media as well as the campaign website, blogs and other partners’ sites.
Preference will be given to candidates who are based out of or willing to relocate to New Hampshire, but remote employees will be considered. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply their creativity to their application.
