About this role:
Foglamp is hiring a Designer or Senior Designer to support our growing full-service digital strategy firm. The ideal candidate for this role is a creative designer who embraces new challenges.

The Designer will have 2 to 4 years relative experience and the position will earn $62,000 annually.

The Senior Designer will have more than 4 years of experience and will earn $68,000 annually.

We have offices in Washington, DC, and Oakland, CA, but will consider remote applicants. We also have a generous benefits package, including 100% employer-covered healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Design graphics for a variety of campaign collateral, primarily graphics for digital products emails, digital ads, and social media
• Develop templates for email wrappers and landing page wrappers with email CRMs
• Collaborate with client team to develop products and ensure they’re in line with the campaigns’ brand standards and messaging
• Collaborate and brainstorm with teammates to develop new, creative ideas, solve challenges, and provide strong service to our clients
• Source images and materials for use in digital content
• Manage design workflow to ensure deadlines are met and products are delivered error-free
• Stay abreast of best practices in political graphic design, as well as standards and requirements for various platforms.
• Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• For Designers: 2 to 4 years experience as a designer.
• For Senior Designers: More than 4 years experience as a designer.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to create concepts, designs, and layouts for large scale graphics projects
• Knowledge of digital creative best practices and how to implement them
• Alignment with our firm’s mission. We work with progressive nonprofits and Democratic campaigns to deliver high-quality, voice-driven digital strategy.
• The ability to balance multiple projects with varying deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail

Experience with any or all of the following is preferred, but not required:

• Agency experience
• CRMs such as Action Network, ActionKit, Blue State Digital, EveryAction
• Other platforms such as ActBlue or website CMSs
