Campaign Manager
Center for Popular Democracy
DC/NY

Fed Up is the new national campaign mobilizing to demand that (1) the Federal Reserve build a strong national economy with rising wages, lower unemployment, and less inequality and (2) that it reform its governance to be more transparent, democratic, and accountable to the public interest. It is a national campaign with local organizing; it is targeted at the most powerful economic policymakers in the country – who are, nonetheless, accessible and moveable; and it is fully funded and is already gaining serious momentum.

Fed Up has already made waves with over 40 articles in the nation’s biggest media outlets featuring our high-profile protest at Jackson Hole and our meeting with Chair Janet Yellen. Four months into the campaign, our efforts are resulting in preliminary reforms within the Fed. The campaign has the deep support of the AFL-CIO, the Economic Policy Institute, and 20 partner organizations from around the country.
