Assistant Analyst

Democratic strategic research firm, The Feldman Group, is seeking an Assistant Analyst with strong writing, research and analytical capabilities.

The individual who is hired for this position will work with the firm’s principals and the analysts on strategic research and analysis for elected officials, candidates, unions, and other organizations. They will process data for analysis, help draft sections of strategic reports/memos, produce PowerPoint presentations, proof and edit reports/memos. The Assistant Analyst must reflect the client service values of the firm and exhibit interest in voters’ needs, attitudes and behavior.

At least two years experience in the campaigns and/or political arena, knowledge of basic statistics, advanced Excel skills, and an interest in data and technology are requirements. Understanding of database management, programming languages, and statistical software packages (SPSS, R, etc.) is a plus.

The annual salary for this position is up to $40K, plus benefits. This position is located in Washington, DC and is through the 2018 election cycle only. The Feldman Group values a multi-cultural, diverse working environment. We welcome and encourage people of all backgrounds to apply.
