Washington DC: Democratic Polling Firm Internship

Lincoln Park Strategies, a Democratic polling firm located on Capitol Hill, is accepting applications for part-time or full-time interns. A stipend will be provided and is a great resume builder and perfect entry-level opportunity for anyone with an interest in public opinion research.

Interns will work closely with Lincoln Park Strategies’ principals to gain insights and direct experience with public opinion polling, through tasks such as:

           -Background research on prospective clients

           -Helping to draft survey questions

           -Assisting in the analysis of survey results

           -Compiling results in presentation and/or memo form for clients                                                      -Clipping and archiving news articles and public polling results

 

Strong internship candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, an attention to detail, an ability to work independently as well as take direction, and a capacity to handle multiple projects at once. Familiarity with MS Office is required, and a background in statistics programming or political campaigns is a plus.
