Paid Internship: Communications Intern, Democracy for America (Telecommuting Position)

Democracy for America, a national progressive organization founded by Gov. Howard Dean with more than one million members nationwide, is looking for a Communications Intern.  Ideally the intern will stay on for the rest of the cycle, through the 2016 election. 

Communications interns help with research, writing, editing, media tracking, pitching the media and a variety of other tasks that are necessary to keep DFA in the news and relevant in this 24/7 news cycle.  Using a variety of outlets -- including Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, and Reddit, interns help spread the word about DFA to world.

In this fast-paced world, you'll never be bored, you'll be able to watch TV for work, and must pay close attention to detail and value the AP style guide.
