Antonio Reynoso for Borough President  - Field Director Position

The Antonio Reynoso for Borough President campaign is looking for a full-time Field Director to build a field operation for this competitive and progressive race in Brooklyn, New York. The Field Director will be responsible for designing and executing a voter contact strategy to elect Antonio.  The position reports to the Campaign Manager. 


About Antonio Reynoso

Antonio Reynoso is the Council Member for the 34th District, representing parts of Bushwick, Ridgewood, and Williamsburg. Antonio was born and raised in the Southside of Williamsburg to parents who emigrated from the Dominican Republic. He is currently serving his second term in office, and throughout this time, he has been committed to improving the quality of life within the district while advancing progressive, bold legislation citywide. 


Field Director Responsibilities


  • Design and execute a creative field plan that engages nearly every voter in Brooklyn

  • Track and evaluate weekly voter contact efforts and report performance compared to benchmarks

  • Recruit and train volunteers to reach voter contact goals 

  • Interface and collaborate with local, state, and national political organizations 

  • Plan and implement organizing events 

  • Work alongside the Campaign Manager to organize creatively to achieve fundraising metrics

  • Facilitate trainings and manage a team of field staff

  • Manage a field texting program and dialer service

  • Complete direct voter contact shifts 

  • Design and execute a GOTV plan, including for absentee voting


The ideal candidate will have these qualities:


  • Strong ability to take feedback and adapt 

  • Commitment to progressive values 

  • Critical thinking skills 

  • Self-starter with great time management, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in setting and achieving strategic and measurable targets

  • Creativity and vision to build new programs from scratch

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, especially listening skills and ability to communicate professionally and empathetically, in writing and verbally

  • Experience with Votebuilder, Google Suite 

  • Knowledge and experience in NYC Politics helpful, but not required 




Field Director Qualifications

  • New York and/or Brooklyn experience is preferred, but not required 

  • This position is ideal for a candidate with at least two cycles of experience on an electoral campaign

  • Experience using voter contact systems, such as a dialer and a texting program 


This position will be compensated at $5,000  per month. Interviews will be done on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
