In these vibrant and dynamic times, MoveOn is seeking an outstanding Director of Finance and Administration to help lead the organization as it continues to grow. This is a senior-level strategic role overseeing and optimizing day-to-day operations throughout the organization, including finance, budgeting, FEC reporting, governance and legal. The position manages human resources administration and hiring for our 40 person staff team, and it plays an important role in personnel management and staff development. The position oversees the work of key outside contractors including a full-service finance and accounting vendor; an FEC reporting vendor; a PEO service contractor for HR administration; and outside attorneys. The Director of Finance and Administration will report to the COO, and work closely with the Executive Directors to identify opportunities, challenges and solutions across departments. The right person for this role will be a creative leader and management professional with a demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit along with a commitment to progressive values. MoveOn seeks candidates who have deep experience working with diverse constituencies, and a commitment to expanding the diversity of MoveOn’s staff, membership and supporters.
Location: This is a telecommuting position can be based anywhere in the continental U.S. MoveOn.org is a virtual workplace and does not have physical offices.
