Deputy Finance Director- Mid-Atlantic Gubernatorial Campaign

A top tier Mid-Atlantic Gubernatorial campaign is looking for qualified Deputy Finance Director.

 

Position Descriptions

The Deputy Finance Director will report to the Finance Director. They will play important roles by providing support to the fundraising operation of the campaign and participating in fundraising activities. This is not an entry-level position.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

·      Strategize with the Finance Director on donor prospects and event hosts

·      Manage the in-state fundraising program

·      Oversee and staff fundraising events

·      Submit calls and complete call time follow up

·      Travel with the candidate when necessary

·      Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

·      At least 1 cycle of paid campaign fundraising experience required

·      Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and NGP required

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·      Experience in a fast-paced campaign atmosphere

·      Excellent organizational and time management skills

·      Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

·      Ability to manage several tasks/projects at the same time
