Finance Associate needed for Nashville-area Congressional race

Nashville-area Democratic Congressional campaign seeks a Finance Associate.

 

Position Description

The Finance Associate will report to the Finance Director. He or she will play an important role by providing support to the fundraising operation of the campaign and participating in fundraising activities.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

·      Conduct donor research and prepare call sheets for call time

·      Staff call time

·      Complete call time follow up, outstanding pledge chasing, and data entry

·      Travel in-district when necessary

·      Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

·      Previous campaign fundraising experience preferred but not required

·      Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·      Experience in a fast-paced campaign atmosphere

·      Excellent organizational and time management skills

·      Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

·      Ability to manage several tasks/projects at the same time
