POSITION OVERVIEW
Director of Finance and Administration reports to the senior management and manages accounting, billing, collection, purchasing, payable, payroll, benefits, IT, facilities and insurance matters. Requires an energetic, organized, flexible self-starter with confidence, common sense, loyalty, and the ability to motivate others.
OFFICE ADMINISTRATION DUTIES
• Managing human resource functions, such as assisting in the onboarding process and administering employee benefits.
• Supervising administrative staff and overseeing the office management
• Managing firm insurance policies and financial contracts
PRACTICE MANAGEMENT DUTIES
• Supporting case management process and
• Support for marketing and business development
• Participate in a variety of special projects and unique assignments
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT DUTIES
• Ensuring technology infrastructure supports our organizational goals
• Ensuring our firm has the most up-to-date tools and resources available
ACCOUNTING DUTIES
• Supervising accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Analyzing and presenting financial reports to management
• Managing firm’ s cash flow and forecasting
• Managing invoice tracking and account collections
• Supervising payroll
SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN APPLICANTS
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to show initiative and manage complex tasks with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated time management skills
• Multi-tasking with the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment

• High degree of sensitivity and discretion in dealing with confidential matters
• Applicants should be fluent in Microsoft Office and Intuit QuickBooks
• Technology savvy with experience selecting and overseeing software installations and managing relationships with software vendors; knowledge of accounting and reporting software
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Preference will be shown to applicants who have previous experience in administration
• Preference will be shown to college graduates
• Experience in law offices highly desirable
