Regional GOTV Director (NY Congressional)

[NY Organizer]

Regional GOTV Directors are needed in a competitive New York district to defeat a key Trump defender in the most competitive red-to-blue seat in the northeast.

Reports To: Field Director

Responsibilities Include:

• In collaboration with existing staff, help design and implement the 2020 GOTV program
• Manage paid organizing staff and hold staff accountable to ambitious daily GOTV goals
• Execute absentee ballot and early vote campaigns that lead into the traditional GOTV period
• Create and implement absentee, early voting, and GOTV reporting standards and procedures
• Develop and execute a robust voter protection program
• Build and manage in-district and out-of-district volunteer capacity (including completing daily call time)
• Virtual GOTV event management
• Perform other duties as needed

 

Required Skills and Background:

• Kindness and empathy in a high-pressure campaign environment
• Exceptionally well organized with the ability to meet strict deadlines 
• Disciplined and solutions-oriented approach to all tasks
• Commitment to electing Democrats
• The ability and willingness to work six days a week and long hours to fight for democratic values
• Once cycle or more of organizing or staff management experience
• Must have access to a cell phone and vehicle 

Compensation is $3,250/month.
