Responsibilities: Rivertown Strategies, LLC is seeking a full-time Finance Assistant & Event Planner. The Finance Assistant will be the lead deputy on fundraising and development goals for a wide range of clients with duties that include but are not limited to:
- Manage and execute events
- Principal call time manager
- Oversee the management and maintenance of NGP databases for multiple clients
- Lead data integrity, including confirming contact information, correct donor history, and biographical information
- Low-dollar online solicitations and direct mail
- Oversee principal call time and other activities to hit raise targets and deadlines
- Execute and manage donor research and expand principal’s new donor networks;
- Manage follow up on all correspondence and pledges;
Qualifications
- 1+ cycles of campaign finance experience, previous legislative/congressional campaign experience or relevant equivalent
- Must have event planning experience
- Experience managing staff preferred
- Knowledge of NGP and Excel is required. RevUp experience is preferred.
- Must have strong written and communication skills
- Donor prospecting and research experience preferred
- Prior experience with targeting contributors and follow up management
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
- Time management and superb organizing skills are a must
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Willing to re-locate to Cincinnati for 2018
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
