Field Director for Statewide Campaign

Position:
Field Director sought for a top of the ticket statewide New Mexico Secretary of State race. Responsible for coordinating community engagement and field infrastructure of the campaign including; managing field staff, managing statewide community engagement, recruiting volunteers, setting and achieving field program goals, staff and volunteer training and daily reporting and accountability throughout GOTV. The Field Director will report to the Campaign Manager. Position starts in July.
Field Director Responsibilities:
· Ensuring visibility and coverage throughout local communities for the campaign.
· Executing and implementing a comprehensive, data-driven field plan.
· Set, meet, and exceed benchmarks for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, grassroots engagement, and GOTV.
· Management of the campaign voter database.
· Maintaining a professional campaign culture with an emphasis on building out best practices based on conditions on the ground and accountability to goals and metrics.
Field Director Qualifications:
· Applicants must be highly organized and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced campaign environment.
· Minimum of one campaign worth of field experience.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong ability training and producing high performing organizers and volunteer team members.
· Votebuilder proficiency (VAN), including database management and excellent staff and volunteer training skills.
· Detail-oriented with an ability to be self-accountable.
· Ability to manage an accountability structure for program as a whole and for individual staff and volunteer team members.
· Strong leader with proven ability to motivate staff to exceed goals.
· Ability to meet deadlines on multiple concurrent tasks.
· Spanish language skills a bonus.
