Cooper for North Carolina is searching for a Junior Deputy Finance Director to join our 2020 campaign. The Jr. Deputy will be responsible for scheduling, building, and staffing fundraising events throughout North Carolina, and will be expected to meet and exceed aggressive fundraising goals by optimizing candidate and staff time. This position will work closely with and reports directly to the Finance Director.
Qualifications:
· At least once cycle of campaign fundraising experience
· Strong verbal and written communications skills
· Experience building campaign fundraisers from start to finish
· Experience working with event hosts
· Ability to problem solve and find creative solutions to meet event goals
· Experience managing staff and/or interns
· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
· Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, ActBlue, and NGP
· Must be able to excel in a fast paced environment
