Boutique fundraising firm seeks a driven Fundraising Associate. This position will be semi-remote, based in Claremont, CA. This position will assist the principal of the firm with all fundraising related activities on behalf of the firm’s clients.
Daily Duties:
Donor outreach – significant volume of calls to donors and potential donors of clients to set up fundraisers, meetings, attend events, and opportunities for our clients to connect with donors and prospective donors to solicit funds
Call time support /donor research -- including creation, research and completion of call sheets with donor information, and data entry and appropriate followup
Scheduling – assisting clients teams with scheduling donor meetings, and assisting the principal with scheduling
Generating new leads
Staff call time – occasional support on the ground for clients
Intern management – if assigned, the associate will manage any interns
Drafting content for digital fundraising
Managing up – provide feedback, clarity and information to partners and clients when it will impact operations and fundraising for clients
Other duties as assigned
Expectations:
1-2 cycles of campaign fundraising experience preferred. The candidate must have excellent verbal, written and analytical skills, and demonstrated experience with, or the ability to quickly learn, Google suite, Excel and NGP/VAN.
