Deputy Finance Director for South Florida Congressional

A South Florida Democratic congressional campaign is seeking a Deputy Finance Director to immediately join our fundraising team. Working directly under the Finance Director and alongside the candidate, the Deputy will be at the heart of the fundraising operation for this highly competitive race.

Responsibilities include:

• Donor research and targeting
• Preparing and helping manage call time
• Regularly updating the campaign’s NGP database
• Staffing fundraising events (may include some travel)
• Serving as a point of contact for high-value donors and PACs
• Assisting with all activities pertaining to fundraising
• Other campaign duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Dedication to progressive values and ideals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage a lot of projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel especially)
• Reliable vehicle and a driver’s license
• Previous finance/fundraising experience preferred (especially in Florida)
• Knowledge of NGP or other database type software preferred
