The George Scott for State Senate is seeking a Finance Director. George is running in SD-15, a top targeted 2020 district, crucial to flipping the Pennsylvania Senate.
George is a Veteran and Pastor who ran an extremely competitive 2018 race for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 10th district, coming within a few points of flipping a seat that Trump won by 9-points.
Responsibilities
The Finance Director will report directly to the Campaign Manager and will be responsible for a robust finance program on a seven-figure campaign. They will work closely with leadership and candidate to:
Execute an aggressive seven-figure finance plan
Manage calltime program, optimizing call strategy, identifying and prospecting donors, and conducting follow up
Conduct profitable event-strategy leaning, focused on engaging high net worth donors
Work with consultants and Campaign Manager to implement digital fundraising from a considerable email list.
Coordinate with Campaign Manager work with labor and interest group relationships
Hire and manage finance staff as needed by the campaign to execute finance plan
Working with Campaign Treasurer and Campaign Manager conduct accurate and prompt campaign compliance reports
Helping with other aspects of the campaign as necessary
Required Qualifications
2+ Cycles campaign finance experience
Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, ActBlue, and NGP
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and in team settings
Must have strong written and communication skills
