The Donna Lynne for Colorado campaign, a Colorado gubernatorial political campaign, is seeking a finance assistant interested in political fundraising for a Democrat. Applicants should be organized, able to manage several tasks, willing to learn in a fast-paced environment, and detail oriented. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience on a competitive campaign. You will learn key aspects of campaign fundraising, including but not limited to prospecting, call time, and event management. You will help maintain contribution databases, prepare correspondence and assist other staff with day-to-day fundraising efforts.

The finance assistant will report to the finance director.  Responsibilities include conducting donor research, assisting with event planning and setup, maintaining fundraising databases, staffing the candidate, and providing assistance to the finance director.  1-2 years of political experience is preferred, but not required.  Must be dedicated and willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
