Field Organizer 


Field organizers needed for exciting county-wide coordinated field program. 


Join an exciting team working to elect a strong slate of Democrats in County Wide, Town wide and other local campaigns. We’re looking for field organizers for the local 2019 elections in Long Island, NY.   


Responsibilities include: 

  • Manage field offices 

  • Recruit, train and manage volunteers to participate in direct voter contact

  • Train and deploy volunteers for canvasses and phone banks 

  • Identify and staff key community events  

  • Direct voter outreach 

  • Other tasks as needed



Requirements: 

Campaign or community organizing experience preferred, but not required 

Strong interpersonal and communications skills are necessary.

Excitement for community outreach, campaigns and the future of Long Island!

Ability to work nights and weekends 

Local to Long Island or ability to relocate
