DCCC-targeted Red to Blue NJ Congressional seeks Field Organizers to start immediately

A nationally-targeted, New Jersey congressional campaign, rated among the twenty most competitive House races in the country, seeks hard-working field organizers to start immediately.  Organizers will play pivotal roles in managing the campaign’s robust volunteer voter contact program, to unseat a long-time incumbent and help Democrats take back the House.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• ·       Implementing a robust field plan to reach regular voter contact goals
  
• ·       Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers and interns
  
• ·       Planning, crowd-building, and staffing campaign events
  
• ·       Ensuring data integrity and timely entry
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• ·       Have a passion for progressive politics and the power of political organizing
  
• ·       Have a basic understanding of political campaigns and a desire to learn more
  
• ·       Be highly organized with an ability to manage multiple ongoing projects
  
• ·       Be comfortable with computer technology, with experience using VoteBuilder a major plus
  
• ·       Be willing and able to work long hours including nights and weekends on a regular basis
