Job: Field Canvasser
Job Description:
Come out and canvass for an experienced progressive democrat running for County Council in Montgomery County, MD. Position will be door knocking and phone banking on weekdays and weekends depending on schedule.
Responsibilities:
· Canvassing door to door and having conversations with voters
· Phone banking
· Meeting or exceeding daily voter contact goals
· Recording results while placing a high expectation on accuracy of data
Ideal Candidates:
· Are well spoken
· Comfortable with speaking with voters door to door and on the phone
· Willing to work outside
· Have reliable self-transportation (car, etc).
· Own a smart phone (iOS/Android)
Hourly rate: $12.00 / hour with possibilities for advancement
